hello!

I've been a professional graphic designer for over twelve years and have been working as a freelancer for a little over a year, and I'm loving it. I've been lucky enough to work on some very interesting projects and partnering with some great teams. My clients so far have been mostly universities, museums, and small businesses.

My work continues to be split in both digital and print. Over the past year I've plunged into the world of Drupal and am amazed by it's capabilities. I pride myself as being a designer that can both design and code, and I love doing both. I consider myself a one stop shop (with a lot of help from Google). My scripting languages include html, css, html 5, and a general understanding of SQL and PHP.

My print work lies mostly in the creative corporate world. Reports, brochures, posters, and exhibition design have been my most recent projects, though my skill set extends well beyond those just listed.

Before my life as a freelancer, I worked at the Royal Ontario Museum as the lead designer for the Renaissance ROM Campaign. Previous to this, I was at the National Post as their senior online marketing producer, and earlier as their web designer. If you'd like to dig a bit further, I was the web designer at a small media company called Trailervision.com. I have a BFA from York University and am a graduate of the Media Lab at the Canadian Film Centre.

I'm currently taking on new projects and would love to hear from you. Please contact me via email or by phone at (416) 624-3268.
